China's dye production ranking the world's first clean production into an inevitable choice

The business agency reported on April 28th that the dyestuff production in China has occupied the world from the 11th China International Dye Industry and Organic Pigments and Textile Chemicals Exhibition (abbreviated as "China International Dyestuffs Exhibition") recently held here. With a share of 60%, ranking first in the world, accelerating the promotion of cleaner production processes has become an inevitable choice for the sustainable development of the dye industry.

According to the statistics of the China Dyestuff Industry Association, in 2010, the output of dyestuffs in China reached 756,000 tons, an increase of 5% over 2009; sales revenue was 39.6 billion yuan, an increase of 10.9% over 2009, and production basically recovered before the international financial crisis. Production level. In 2010, exports reached 273,000 tons, an increase of 14.7% over 2009; exports earned US$1.175 billion, up 27.7%.

It is understood that China's dye production ranks first in the world, mainly due to the rapid growth of domestic and foreign printing, coatings, plastics, fibers and other related industries, the demand continues to expand. Taking organic dyes as an example, during the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period, the annual output of organic pigments in China was maintained at 18-22 million tons, accounting for about 40% of the world's total production. However, due to the low proportion of high-performance organic pigments, resulting in fierce competition in product prices and low profit margins, many companies export to OEM, the development level is not high.

According to relevant plans, by the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, the annual sewage and chemical oxygen demand emissions of the dye industry in China will decrease by another 10% on the basis of the end of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan,” accounting for approximately 15% of the total industry output, respectively. And 18%. In the next five years, industrial upgrading, energy saving, pollution reduction, cleaner production, and comprehensive management will become major issues in the development of the related industries.

In the past two years, China International Dyestuffs Expo has opened up environmental protection and energy conservation zones for two consecutive sessions, providing related companies at home and abroad with a broader stage and opportunities to lead the industry. At the same time, China International Dyestuffs Exhibition has developed into the largest professional exhibition in the global dyeing and chemical industry.

In order to speed up the transformation of the development of the Chinese dyestuff industry and accelerate the implementation of the “go global” strategy, the China Dyestuff Industry Association, the China Dyestuff Industry Association, the China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Shanghai decided to use the China International Dye The exhibition will be promoted to the Asia region and will guide China's dyestuff industry to achieve three major transformations, that is, a shift from relying on resource development to upgrading the industrial structure, from a focus on economic scale to a focus on development quality, and from a pursuit of economic growth to a pursuit of all-round development. At present, the first stop of the Asia Tour has been selected to be located in Ahmedabad, India. The exhibition will last from December 8 to December 10 this year. Ahmedabad is the largest city in the west of Gujarat in India and an important chemical industrial center. It is rich in Cotton and has become India’s largest center for dyeing and dyeing and textile printing and dyeing.
