German Gerry Weber sells record

German Gerry Weber sells record Since last year's global economic situation was not ideal, the German "Glee" expansion plan for high-end women's apparel brand Gerry Weber was lost. Gerry Weber’s clothing sales and profits for the 2010/2011 fiscal year set a record but did not meet the company’s expectations. Gerhard Weber, president of Gerry Weber, announced on Tuesday (January 17) that the company’s profit in the last fiscal year (November 2010 to November 2011) has increased significantly. In addition, Gerhard Weber also disclosed that the company has accelerated the pace of expansion. The company opened 75 to 85 new Gerry Weber apparel stores last year. This amount is equivalent to half of the total number of stores outside of Germany.

After Gerhard Weber released the news, Gerry Weber's stock rose sharply on the day: the company's shares rose more than 2% to 26.35 euros per share, a record high.

Gerhard Weber continued: In October 2011, the company's revenue increased by about 13% year-on-year to 702.7 million euros.
