The fashion industry capital resurrection fashion week "Willisville Day"

On March 25, 2010, during the opening day of the China International Fashion Week (Autumn/Winter 2010 series), Weisman, one of the most talked-about brands in recent years, made a bold and impressive entrance. The brand continued its upward trajectory, showcasing its latest collections and innovations in an extravagant manner. The day featured several key events: the 6th Weisman 2010 China Knit Fashion Design Contest, the Chinese Sweater Trend Presentation for Autumn/Winter 2010, and the WSM News Release Cocktail Party, where new fashion trends and business updates were unveiled. Additionally, the 2010-2011 Weisman Autumn and Winter Product Launch presented fresh design directions for the upcoming season. In a dynamic era marked by constant shifts and reconfigurations within the industry, the fashion week became a stage for significant change, filled with energy and momentum. This event was particularly meaningful for Weisman, as it followed Jiuding's investment of 50 million yuan into the company at the end of the previous year. These launch activities not only highlighted the brand’s growing strength but also brought renewed vitality to the knitwear sector of the Chinese fashion industry. The highlight of the day was the “Weisman” 2010 China Knit Fashion Design Contest, held at 17:00 in the Central Hall of the D.PARK Beijing Clubhouse. Organized by the China Fashion Designers Association and Zhuhai Weisman Garments Co., Ltd., the contest received over 1,200 entries from 26 regions across the country since its launch in September. After an initial review in January, 23 outstanding designs from students, professional designers, and independent creators across 14 regions were selected for the final round. This year’s competition centered around the theme of "convergence," encouraging participants to blend unique ideas into knitwear design. The resulting works not only showcased strong fashion appeal but also reflected market value and innovation. What sets this contest apart is the strong support provided to the creators. The “China Fashion Sweater Research and Development Base,” established by the association and Weisman, helped finalists bring their designs to life, offering young talents a rare opportunity to engage with advanced knitting production techniques. This comprehensive support played a crucial role in the success of the final presentations, making the event both inspiring and impactful. As the fashion world continues to evolve, Weisman’s commitment to nurturing talent and pushing creative boundaries remains a standout feature of its brand identity.
